Labels for UK coffee roasters
Coffee bag labels built for fresh-roasted shelves.
Waterproof vinyl sized for valve bags and kraft pouches. Free design help, proofs on every order, from 25 labels upwards.
Specialty roasting is a freshness game. A bag peaks around 14 days after roast, and the label carries that story — roast date, origin, process, tasting notes — without looking like a pharmacy tag. Third-wave buyers read labels. They care about lot, about elevation, about the micro-mill.
We print coffee bag labels on waterproof vinyl with adhesive rated for foil valve bags and kraft pouches equally. No shifting at the valve cut-out, no oil bleed from beans stored next to the label edge, no peeling when cafés grab bags from cold display.
Roasters order from 25 labels for single-origin test runs up to 1,000+ for production runs. Print a unique roast date per bag with variable data, run one design across a season and stamp dates in-house, or leave batch fields blank. Free proof on every order, free UK delivery.

Four things coffee bag labels have to get right.
Coffee bag labels fail at predictable points. Our design team checks all four before press.
-
Valve-bag and kraft-pouch adhesion
Foil valve bags flex around the valve cut-out, and wrong-spec adhesive lifts at the edge. Our adhesive is tested on every common UK valve-bag format and on kraft-paper pouches.
-
Roast date and batch fields
Leave a blank for in-house stamping, print variable data per bag, or print a single roast date across a run. Each approach has cost tradeoffs — we'll quote for whichever suits your workflow.
-
Tasting notes and origin layout
Origin, farm, elevation, process, variety, cup notes all need legible space without cluttering the brand. We size labels to your actual bag format and flag any field cramping on proof.
-
Oil-resistant print
Bean oils migrate through paper bags over weeks. Our vinyl and inks don't react — print stays sharp even on bags sitting in storage next to oily dark roasts.

Switched after our winter releases kept peeling in café fridges. A year on, labels still hold on every bag — even ones baristas grab with wet hands from the shelf.
Roaster FAQ
Questions from specialty roasters.
Do your labels work on valve bags (Weston, MTPak and similar)?
Yes — we test adhesion on all common UK valve-bag formats. The valve cut-out is the weak point on wrong-spec labels because the foil flexes around it. Our adhesive handles the flex without edge-lift.
Can I print a different roast date on each bag?
Two approaches. For small batches (25–100 bags), we can print variable data across the run — each label gets a unique roast date. For larger runs, most roasters leave a blank field and stamp in-house. Variable-data pricing differs — flag which suits you.
What size label fits a 250g coffee bag?
Standard 250g pouch takes a 90 × 65mm front label, optionally with a 40 × 90mm tall side label for origin notes. 500g bags scale to 100 × 80mm. Send your bag model and we'll confirm exact sizing before proof.
Can I match the matte kraft aesthetic without using paper?
Yes — we print matte vinyl in warm neutral tones that read as kraft while keeping waterproof durability. Popular with roasters who want the craft feel without paper's moisture and bean-oil issues.
