Labels for UK craft distilleries
Gin bottle labels that stand up on the back bar.
Waterproof vinyl that survives the ice bucket. Front, neck and back label sets printed together. From 25 bottles upwards.
UK craft distilling has gone from a handful of operators to several hundred in a decade, and the bottles now compete on a much more crowded back bar. The difference between a bottle a bartender reaches for and one that sits untouched is rarely the liquid — it's the label. A confident front, a well-sized neck, and a back label that actually reads at a glance will do more for a small distillery than another round of GBS tasting submissions.
We print on waterproof vinyl rated for ice-bucket submersion, condensation cycling and end-of-night bar wipe-downs. Every set comes with a free digital proof, so you can check your batch fields, ABV, lot numbers and distillation dates before anything prints. If you're running a limited release with unique batch data, we can either leave blank fields for stamping or print variable data across the run.
Small MOQs from 25 bottles mean you can test a new release or a gift-set miniature before committing to a full batch. Free design help, free UK delivery, and most orders ship in 2–3 working days from proof approval.

Four things spirit labels have to get right.
Most distillery label problems come back to the same four places. Our proof process catches them before press.
-
Front, neck and back as a set
Most spirits use three labels: the hero front, a branded neck or shoulder, and an ingredients/batch back. We price per label at your total count and combine them onto one print run, so 500 × 3 labels = 1,500 labels at the volume tier rate.
-
Ice-bath survival
Every label we print is rated for prolonged submersion, condensation cycling, and bar wipe-downs. We've had distilleries reorder years later and the original labels were still in rotation on venue bottles.
-
Clear and transparent options
For backlit displays or minimalist branding, clear vinyl lets the spirit do the talking. We print white ink underneath where opacity matters (logo, legal text) so the label still reads in any lighting.
-
Variable batch and distillation data
If each batch has a different distillation date, botanical blend or limited-release identifier, we can print variable data across the run or leave blank fields for stamping. Flag which approach suits your workflow and we'll quote accordingly.

Distillery FAQ
Questions from craft distilleries.
Will the labels stay on through ice buckets and condensation?
Yes. Our waterproof vinyl and solvent-grade adhesive are tested for prolonged submersion and condensation cycling — not just splash resistance. In normal use the label outlasts the bottle. Distilleries reorder for new batches, not because the old labels failed.
Can you print front, neck and back labels as a single order?
Yes — that's the standard setup for most distilleries. Upload three artwork files (or brief us to design all three), we combine them onto one print run and ship together. Pricing is per label at your total count, so you hit the volume tier faster when ordering sets.
What size works for a standard 70cl gin bottle?
Most common setup: 90 × 65mm rectangle for the front, 40 × 40mm or 35 × 75mm for the neck, 90 × 55mm for the back. Bottle shapes vary a lot — send us your bottle model (or photos with a ruler) and we'll confirm dimensions before proof. Small adjustments don't change the price.
Do you print 50cl and 5cl miniatures too?
Yes — we do a lot of miniatures for wedding favours, gift sets, trade-show giveaways and tasting flights. Same materials, just scaled. A 50cl half-bottle typically uses 70 × 50mm front, 30 × 30mm neck. 5cl miniatures get a single wraparound label, usually 50 × 30mm.
