Cut vinyl or printed — which for my logo?

Cut vinyl is plotter-cut from coloured sheets — most "painted on glass" look, solid colours only. Printed vinyl prints full CMYK on clear/white then cuts. Use cut for simple logos, printed for complex or photographic elements.
 

Do I see proofs before my logo is cut?

Yes — every order includes a free digital proof within 24 hours showing exact dimensions, colours, and positioning on a mock-up of your window.
 

Do multi-colour logos cost more?

For cut vinyl, each colour adds a small premium because each layer is cut separately. For printed vinyl, colour count makes no difference — full CMYK is included.
 

Will it look painted on the glass?

Yes — that's the exact effect. Cut vinyl has no visible clear backing, so it appears painted directly onto glass. From 2m away it's near-impossible to tell it's a decal.
 

Can I remove it if we rebrand?

Yes — all our vinyl peels off glass cleanly without residue, even after years. Warming with a hairdryer makes large logos easier to lift in one piece.
 

What size should my logo be?

For shop windows: 300-600mm wide reads well from the pavement. For glass doors at eye level: 200-300mm. Our design team advises based on shopfront photos.
