Very close. The directional grain texture mimics brushed aluminium convincingly. At normal viewing distance, most people cannot tell the difference between a brushed silver vinyl label and a real metal nameplate.

How is brushed silver different from mirror silver?

Mirror silver is highly reflective chrome — you can see your reflection in it. Brushed silver has a directional grain texture and a softer satin sheen. Mirror is more dramatic; brushed is more subtle and industrial.
